25.01.2022 Belmore Road Balwyn- French Provincial Home- WINNER of AWCIV State Award of Excellence 2014- Domestic Sector The central feature of the French Provincial house was its spiral staircase and feature dome over this staircase. The dome measured 1.5 metres in height with a 3 metre diameter. The dome was further enhanced with a moulding around the perimeter and a cornice inside the dome allowing for indirect lighting.... The manufacturing of the dome required us to make a master mould and was made in sections due to the weight. These sections were bonded together with cornice cement and fibreglass reinforcing. Throughout the house there were many curved walls which required bespoke mouldings. The builder was most impressed with the opulent result.

22.01.2022 Here is a look of one of our past projects! Topline Plaster - Winner of AWCI State and National Award of Excellence 2008 for Swanbourne Project. The owner's brief to the interior designer was for a ceiling that's one of a kind. The cornice design was approximately a metre by a metre wall and ceiling projection containing 3 elements: a light trough, an extra large cove section and a ceiling run.... All these had to follow a bulkhead that was waving in and out through the entire living area. The cornice was made "in-situ", that is, constructed in place on the ceiling by running the cornice by hand using a template. A method used in past centuries to produce a continuous flowing cornice without any signs of joints.

19.01.2022 Great night at the Awards of Excellence held by the Association of Walls& Ceilings Industries @Crown. Our MC of the night, Peter Rowsthorn (Brett @ Kath & Kim) was hilarious. We had our 5 minutes of fame with Peter when Topline Plaster won the State award in the decorative category.

09.01.2022 White Night Receptions, a large reception centre in Maidstone, Melbourne, has been renovated by Topline in a grand European palatial style. Featuring over 150 lengths of large ornate Corbel cornice, measuring 265 x 180, in all its main reception areas. With highly ornate sectioned ceilings giving the distinctive feel of grandeur and timeless elegance.

We have been approached to deliver bespoke plaster designs consisting of domes, columns and ornamental plaster features. Many ideas are sourced through the internet and put forward to us to replicate. Designs are only limited by your imaginations..

03.01.2022 Timeless elegance of decorative cornice adds affluence to a contemporary home. The mix of modern and traditional blends together giving a stunning effect. Topline Cornice #61 (large Corbel Cornice) was used throughout with a coffered ceiling in the hallway entry. In the living and dining areas the cornice was applied inside the bulkheads giving a unique effect.
