23.01.2022 Chris Anderson goes Ballistic !!! A big and deserved congratulations to Chris and the whole team at Anderson Racing after victory yesterday in the G3 Rough Habit Plate. Speaking of habits, it has been well documented over the past fortnight that the stable was starting to make a habit of running close up 2nds in feature stakes races. I was talking to Chris about it last week and to his credit he didnt let it get him down and he kept focused and said he knew the winners woul...d come. Maybe it was the advice from Duncan Ramage to practice the ancient art of Feng Shui and go and clean all his mirrors! Well whatever it was it certainly worked as Ballistic Boy, aided by a super ride from Brad Stewart, was too strong for his last start nemesis Super Giant and powered away to win over 2200m. Now that Chris has cracked the code, Im sure there will be more feature races in store for him in the near future.

23.01.2022 READILY AVAILABULL wins Magic Millions Clockwise Classic Congratulations to John Sargent, his team at JSR and the connections of READILY AVAILABULL on their thrilling victory yesterday in the Magic Millions Clockwise Classic at Ballarat. Sarge has been bullish about this colt right from day one and his head foreman Campbell Ashby has to be congratulated for all the work he has done with the colt, riding him every day and keeping him happy. A 10 out of 10 steer from Micky Dee... also helped as the colt was slowly away and caught up in a bit of traffic coming to the turn, but once he was in the clear he let down with an impressive turn of foot to grab the leaders close to the line. READILY AVAILABULL will now have a short freshen up and John will make the decision about his path forward and has the advantage that he is already qualified for the main race so he has a few options up his sleeve. We are very excited to be a part of this colt with a great bunch of lady owners. I'm sure yesterdays winners cheque will go a long way to helping them frock up and enjoy the excitement that comes with the Magic Millions carnival up on the glitter strip.

20.01.2022 Introducing our new Rothesay colt seen here this morning at 3 hours of age, already getting around the paddock in nice fashion. Her mum suffered a severe bacterial infection a couple of months ago and we nearly lost them both. 14.01.2022 Our Better Than Ready filly has finished her first full preparation at Matthew Dunn's stables where she worked up to full speed, went through the barriers and had a couple of jump outs. As you can see, she is developing very well and while always a big strong type, she now has even better size, strength and presence. With the border lockdown we haven't been able to parade her to Queensland clients, so there are still a few shares left in her. 13.01.2022 Despite having seen two of the greatest champions over the past decade it is Might and Power who will always be my favourite. He was simply electrifying with that big extravagant action and I never missed one of his races. I still get goosebumps remembering seeing him race in the Hollindale and Doomben Cup smashing the track record by 2 seconds. This was the day I ticked #1 off my racing bucket list. As most horses who end up getting over ground don't usually run as early 2 years olds you don't have the long wait for your horse to get to the races.
