24.01.2022 New Acoustic Strings-just arrived. Optima VINTAGE-FLEX - Low Tension. These strings are a completely new range which are designed to have a reduced and virtually equal tension on each string. They are made on Round cores with unique core-to-wrap ratios, so the gauges which match up with some of our standard sets are not the same at all! There are several advantages of using these strings. Vintage guitars, light braced guitars and people who have problems fretting due to arthritis or tendonitis can use these strings without worrying about twisting or uneven pulling on the bridge. Low tensions also mean ease of fretting.

20.01.2022 In our quest to stock quality gear that isnt made by exploited or slave labour we have discontinued our range of cheap end guitar cables and have started worki...ng exclusively with German cable company Sommer who are custom making all our "entry level" guitar and speaker cables especially for us at a price range we can offer onto our customers. These are all hand made in Germany and have a minimum 3 year warranty and come standard in a range of colours and ends with many options available. Because these are made for us, there is approx 4-6 week turnaround on custom orders but we have in stock, and will be stocking a large range in the shop and on the site. We are the exclusive Australian dealer for Sommer and have our first order in now with guitar cables in white, red, blue and black starting at $21 for 3M and running up to 9M. We are also stocking some of their slightly higher end cables running up to our own Tym cables which we make by hand here in Brisbane using only the best quality components and have a limited lifetime warranty. The cable has excellent Audio properties and is ideal for pedalboards.The Vahlbruch analog modulation pedals are the best I know off and the switchable Weehbo JTM/JCM provides low to medium distortion. Yep, with 3 pedals and a tuner I have every sound ever needed from the 60s to 80s Van Halen. Powered by a Palmer power unit on a Palmer Mini Pedal rack.

We started working with Sommer cables in Germany and they... custom hand make all our cables to our spec. We just got a big order with more options in and theres another big order on the way. These cables are GREAT quality and cover our $20-60 range where our Tym cables take over from $60 up.
