12.01.2022 FINALLY!!!! It is all now official and we are excited to say after 4 hardworking years, the young student who came to us for VCAL in 2015 and stayed for an apprenticeship is now a fully qualified Carpenter! We are very excited to share the news that Jayden has completed his apprenticeship and is now a qualified Carpenter. It has been an absolute privilege to watch him grow and develop in both skills and confidence over the years. We could not be prouder! Congratulations mate! We are so excited to see what the future holds for you!

07.01.2022 LANGWARRIN UPDATE: Weve been back on site in Langwarrin over the last week, when the rain has allowed us! Weve made good progress with this extension & renovation... weve removed the existing deck & verandah, removed the brick wall at the rear of the house and commenced pouring concrete footings, in preparation for the new brickwork. We look forward to showing you more progress of this job as the weeks go by!

There are still some restrictions in place regarding internal renovations but were hoping these will ease over the coming weeks. Stay tuned! 03.01.2022 We just wanted to pop in and advise that whilst Victoria is in Stage 4 Restrictions, Top Shelf Building & Carpentry will be closed for on-site works except for 2 reasons: 1. Works to be conducted on a vacant premises 2. Emergency works ... BUT... we are definitely still open for quotes and advice over the phone. We are following all advice from the Victorian Government and are receiving regular updates from Master Builders Association of Victoria who are assisting our industry with clarification of the regulations. Thank you to all our clients for their support during this time. We cant wait to be back on-site building for you. Most importantly, please stay safe and do the right thing so we can keep our most vulnerable safe and return to "normal" (whatever that may be) as soon as possible.

02.01.2022 Someone took a break from remote learning this week to become an apprentice... Spencer joined the boys on site at a new job in Langwarrin, where they will be completing an extension/ renovation as well as building a brand new deck and pergola, providing this family with much needed extra space!

First task on the list, was the creation of a new bedroom (using the existing rumpus room) and the building of a brand new ensuite.
