18.01.2022 Had a few progress pictures sent through to us of a 427 cube little paw that's nearing it's completion over in new Zealand. The engine is destined for a Roadcar over there, as it is what the owner wanted it will be a detuned polite road car motor, 10.1 comp, Scat 4" crank , CP pistons, Oliver rods, TP240 heads, savvy sump , Holley HP efi , 8 x 50mm TB, Needs custom made headers to put on dyno, so no figures as of yet.

02.01.2022 All this info was from Pete Murray, very nice combo with great results, credit to all involved to make it happan Ran craigs 355 up yesterday on Lamprecht race engines dyno yesterday combo is a 355 TP223 heads HYD roller with an extensively modified TP001 intake, this aint no pussy cat HYD roller combo, .660 lift just over 200psi cranking pressure but still runs perfectly well on pump 98, during this build i was hesitant about going HYD roller but the owner insisted and now i...m glad he did i did the usual with the TP223 head machine work competition valve job and a little bit of a tickle in valve seat bowl/short turn area and hand blended and finished the combustion chambers craig was hesitant about doing a full number on the intake manifold so i flow tested the heads then with a stock intake and then with the ported and match ported intake results were as follows head only-stock int-ported int .500 288 228 282 .600 307 241 290 .650 314 246 295 .700 318 249 299 we ran the engine with a few carbs including the original 750 a QFT850 and just for giggles a 1040 4150 which we had for another engine, the 750 matched the 850 everywhere so thats the carb we used to dyno for race fuel Russel from LRE did a superb job with dynoing this engine a true professional and the dyno facility is also very professional....very happy with the outcome if u are in brisbane and need an engine dynoed give russ a call you wont find a better service on pump 98 with the 750 carb 590hp @7000 rpm 492lbs @ 5500 rpm with ETS Prodrag 3 and 750 carb 613hp @ 7200 rpm 507lbs @ 5400 rpm this is a little ball tearer and makes very good TQ, makes 35+lbs more TQ than a 565hp VN head 355 we had on here a few weeks ago so its doing everything above and beyond what i set as our goal of 550-560hp this would be a low 10sec engine in a well setup early commodore or torana
