10.01.2022 Looking for a sweet but healthy treat? Try these quick and easy bliss balls. They'll keep in the fridge for a week so you can make them on the weekend for sweet treats all week. 1.5 cups dates, pitted raw almonds 1 tablespoon of chia seeds... 1 cup dried apples 2 tablespoons coconut oil 1 tablespoon cinnamon cup dessicated coconut Preparation: Place dates, almonds, chia seeds, dried apples, coconut oil, cinnamon in a food processor and combine until everything is well blended Place a tablespoon full of the mixture into your hands and roll into balls Roll balls in desiccated coconut and place in fridge to set. You can change the ingredients to suit your taste. I like to add some plain protein powder and dried cranberries. ENJOY!
07.01.2022 Hi guys, we're in the process of redoing our timetable and would love your feedback. What times/days and classes would you like to see on the timetable. We currently focus on mornings at Holden hill due to other classes being run in other locations in the evening but we are looking at adding classes at 7.30pm and potentially afternoon classes. Let us know what you'd like to see on the timetable and we'll do our best to make it happen. Feel free to post on here or pm us if you'd prefer.

06.01.2022 With winter starting to make an appearance its time to make the house smell delightful with winter roasts. Sick of plain roast veggies? Try this roasted cauliflower recipe... 5 tablespoons black or white poppy seeds 6 or 7 small dried hot red chilies , like Japone or Thai (3 stemmed, seeded, broken into pieces, and 3 or 4 whole chilies) 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric... 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon sugar 1 medium-size cauliflower (about 2 pounds), cut into 1/2-inch floret 3 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 bay leaves Directions Grind poppy seeds and chili pieces in a spice or coffee grinder until they form a fine powder; transfer to a small bowl and mix with 6 tablespoons water to form a paste. Set aside. In a medium bowl, combine all other ingredients except cauliflower. Slightly cook your cauliflower in some boiling water (no more than 2 minutes in boiling water). Remove from the water and stir the above spice mix through the warm cauliflower. Place into an oven dish and bake with your roast until slightly browned and cooked through. The amount of time will depend on the roast you are cooking as each meat will be cooked at a different temperature but on average the cauliflower will take about 15-20 minutes. Enjoy!
