10.01.2022 We had an awesome time away a few weeks ago with my parents and my sister (who took this photo @rachieloulou_ ) and brother in law, I was making scones with my little one, we've cooked together since he was really small, I would put him up on the bench and talk to him about what we were cooking, where the food came from and how we were going to cook it. I found the first year of motherhood so beautiful but also quite lonely, being able to share that part of myself, to feel... creative in the kitchen and to spend time with my baby is something I'll always cherish. Don't get me wrong.. there are always a lot of "eek! Don't touch that!" "no dont pour the salt in!" "don't put the whole egg in the bowl!" but most of my memories of those times have a warm place in my heart.
