25.01.2022 FREE PREP VISION SCREENING A Registered Nurse will be visiting the school tomorrow Wednesday 16 September, 2020 to conduct vision screening for children in their prep year. If you wish to have your prep child participate and you have not returned the consent form sent home in July you can collect another form to complete and return by tomorrow. If your child's vision is screened parents/carers will be advised of the results in writing. If a vision concern is found, you will... receive a phone call from the nurse to discuss referral to an eye health professional for further assessment. Participation in vision screening is not compulsory. If you do not wish for your child to participate in screening, please complete a consent form and indicate that you wish to decline screening. If you have any questions, please contact the Primary School Nurse health Readiness Program on 1800 687 372. See more

15.01.2022 We love reading! D3 have been very busy of late reading a wide variety of texts and identifying the different characters. We are using lots of describing words and sharing with our friends which character is our favourite and why. On a Thursday, D3 are going to the library and reading with Miss Kylie, Miss Akemi and Miss Bonnie. We are using the PODD to answer questions about the books we read to see if we can remember some of the events in each story. We have read many titles this term but we all enjoyed reading The Rainbow Fish. It is a story about a beautiful fish who learns to share with his friends making everyone in the sea happy.

15.01.2022 Please mark these days in your calendars!

14.01.2022 We have had a marvellous first week! Welcome to our new staff and students. Here are just some pics of our classrooms. More to come....

08.01.2022 10 dapper young men arrived to Brother's Leagues Club on the 18.11.2020 to celebrate the end of their years of schooling. After arriving in vintage cars to a waiting crowd on onlookers, students, staff, family and friends enjoyed a night of presentations, awards and delicious meal. Every student was awarded their QCIA (Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement) which showcases all of their hard work over the last two senior years and fulfils their requirements to receive an exit certificate. Charlie, our chaplain also prepared and sang 'Have it All' by Jason Mraz for our senior students to wrap up the formal affair. Thankyou to all who attended and to the staff who made this night as fabulous as it was. We wish all of our graduating seniors the best for their future.
