06.01.2022 Although we are hating the fact that we can't do what we do best which is events, we are enjoying giving our little gem a bit of a freshen up. Change Rooms, Dressing Rooms and back of house offices have all had a nice fresh coat of paint and detailed clean. We commend all our Managers that have rolled up their sleeves and changed their corporate jobs into a hands on approach during this Covid19 shutdown.

The Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre (TECC) has received approval from the Townsville Public Health Unit to operate under its Site Specific COVID Safe Plan. The Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre are committed to the health and safety of our clients, guests, and team members. Developed in consultation with the TECC COVID Safe Task Force, industry bodies, government and health aut...horities, the plan covers all essential areas of operation including cleaning and hygiene, social distancing with new floor plans, food and beverage service, training and record keeping. The Centre Management are working in conjunction with both local and national event promoters to try and provide some much-needed Live Entertainment (other than the beloved North Queensland Cowboys) to the region during these crazy times.
