25.01.2022 Commonwealth Hotel Sporting and Social Club Donation! A $2500 donation was made to the Townsville South State School P&C as their final donation due to the club folding after more than 60 years of their community support. Doug Zundell, the oldest member in the club and past President attended with Christine Bennett the Club Secretary. They presented a giant cheque to the School Captain and Student Council President who then passed this on the P&C Treasurer. We are greatly appreciative of their support and we look forward to a great addition utilising the funding for our school students and school community. Thank you very much!!
