25.01.2022 Happy birthday!! Today is the 3rd birthday of our second single ‘Circling’. Released in 2017 we embarked on the ‘Circling Australia’ tour, playing 11 shows all over the country in support of our most successful song to date. To celebrate this occasion we have several fun things for everyone who enjoyed the song and that tour. ... 21.01.2022 New Merch!! (Kinda) So it’s been a few years now since we toured around and we haven’t played many shows of late so most won’t have seen our most recent shirt design. Drawn up by the amazing Tristan Tait Illustrations, we call it ‘Heavy Petting Zoo’ and it celebrates Australia’s famous deadly wildlife in a fittingly metal way. ... 20.01.2022 It's Christmas time again! It's time to be nice to the people you can't stand all year. I thought I'd do something special for this cover, and as it's Christmas time, I broke out my fancy red suit and fake beard (that's better than my real one) and covered the most metal christmas song I've ever heard. Big thanks to Tom Ballinger for getting me into this when i was 16. The combination of metal Sum 41 and Jack Black is truly fantastic. ... The best song off their best album (fight me on it, I dare you) this shits on an album full of A+ songs and it wasn’t even a major single. This was probably the most fun to play so far and because of that the easiest video to put together. ... 11.01.2022 Last night, Saturday 21st of March, marks the date of Toxicon’s first official show. We played along side Conjurer, Refraction and Hollow World at Revolver. We then backed it up by booking our first show the night after at our Last Summer Sunday Sesh 6 years of tours, somewhere around a hundred shows, and countless memories we’ve had together on the road and were still going strong, with the music the best it’s ever been. Below are a few pictures from over the years, from ...our first ‘show’ playing at a biker bar to crowds at home or far away. Hears to many more years together as a family. We’ve put 2 years and counting into the making of this album and it’s a massive step forward in our sound, one that we have been waiting a long time to show everyone. As well as the album we’ve been recording covers, play throughs of material, both new and old, and a host of other content so keep an eye on all our soci...al channels in the near future for more Toxicon content. 04.01.2022 Evening everyone, We have some sad and unfortunate news today as our guitarist Paul Jones has made the hard decision to leave Toxicon. From 2012 to 2014, Paul was the catalyst in bringing the 5 of us together to become Toxicon and through the adventures we’ve had on the road and on the stage we have all developed life long friendships.... Below is Pauly’s statement, Hey all, I’m taking a step away from Toxicon for the foreseeable future. The boys have been 100% supportive of my decision and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for that. I also want to thank everyone I’ve had the fortune to meet and hang with at shows over the years. Travelling to completely new places and meeting people who I felt like I’d known all my life was definitely an unforseen highlight. Much love and stay safe Paul. Pauls personality and creative spirit are evident in everything we have done thus far, and will be present in everything we choose to do moving forward. Toxicon is a family and should he ever decide to return, his position is always waiting for him.
