20.01.2022 Today we welcomed one of our dads... Eric; an Aboriginal man from Yuin Nation. Eric introduced us to some of his Aboriginal culture. He showed the children ‘clapping sticks’ which is a form of communication, the ‘didgeridoo’ where he created some familiar animal sounds for us to guess and ‘ocre’ a natural pigment used in paint. 07.01.2022 This morning the children at our Mascot centre were captivated by Mohammad from African Beat. Through games, stories and rhythm the children were thoroughly entertained! 03.01.2022 The Roly Polys in North Sydney enjoyed a babyccino before collecting coffee grounds from the local cafe. The children have been caring for their garden as they’ve learned the benefits of adding coffee grounds to their plants. #Toyboxgreenies #Toyboxpartners #GoodBean
