20.01.2022 Today we welcomed one of our dads... Eric; an Aboriginal man from Yuin Nation. Eric introduced us to some of his Aboriginal culture. He showed the children ‘clapping sticks’ which is a form of communication, the ‘didgeridoo’ where he created some familiar animal sounds for us to guess and ‘ocre’ a natural pigment used in paint. 07.01.2022 This morning the children at our Mascot centre were captivated by Mohammad from African Beat. Through games, stories and rhythm the children were thoroughly entertained!
