13.01.2022 An interesting report on the Australian Equipment finance industry by East & Partners. Showing (overall) a relatively flat year for 2019 with the forecast for 2020, being the 2019 forecast rolled forward. This is expected to increase competition as players compete for a relatively static pool of business and customers in that pool have increased their interest in switching providers from 15% in 2011 to 31.3%in the most recent survey. My main take away was: Micro and SME businesses each account for more than double (approx.) the asset finance volume of top 500 Institutions. See:
