25.01.2022 TSG is one step closer to putting the icing on the cake. You may recall this stained glass port hole window in a previous post. It is now in its frame, as per this pic, and the home we are about to install the last commissioned stained glass port hole window into, has been in the making for over 3 years. The home is now completed and all the bespoke handmade leadlights are installed. The painting is done, the furniture is in and the ecstatic clients are in. This home is up there with the best projects TSG has ever had the pleasure of working on. Soon the photographers will be in and the first quality images will be coming soon. Watch this space!

25.01.2022 How cute is this stained glass window? TSG regularly gets asked to be involved in unusual projects and this one was a blast, our client reached out to us to help create a one off colourful stained glass window to go into a classic Vintage Caravan that acts as her office in her backyard which is so cool. The team @RV Solutions make not only restored original vintage caravans but they also make brand new ones to order that look just like the original but with all the mod cons. At TSG we love working on unique projects where we can help to create the complete look the client is after.

24.01.2022 TSG was recently commissioned to create a new stained glass feature for an internal window divide. We also supplied a custom made cedar frame and arranged the installation on site. The stained glass is a one off design by Kim Fitzpatrick - Glass Artist and has many custom made bevels and faceted Swarovski jewels. 23.01.2022 TSG recently completed a full restoration of these two French door style Art Deco windows. They are now fully restored, recemented, polished and also reinforced with new external steel rods and new copper wires. 20.01.2022 TSG had the pleasure of being commissioned recently to create this brand new authentic period style federation stained glass window set for an historic circa pre 1910 built residence in Subiaco, Western Australia. It was imperative that we worked closely with the client every step of the way. The client was content, reassured and happy with all advice and decisions made re glass textures and colours. The use of mouth blown glass, mouth blown German roundels, faceted jewels an...d circa textures and colours make this entrance stand alone at the highest level of quality. After many meetings at our studio, we completed this beautiful transformation of their existing old entry statement into a lively bespoke period style stained glass grand entrance way. The client was over the moon and it looked better than she could have ever imagined. 17.01.2022 TSG had the pleasure or creating this stylish Art Deco influenced authentic leadlight for a newly renovated bathroom in Perth, Western Australia. Elements of the black tiles were introduced with solid black opal glass boarders and custom made bevelled glass for that authentic Art Deco period style look, along with pale blue Swarovski faceted jewels for that touch of bling. We also were commissioned to provide and install the solid jarrah frame and re use existing original fittings. The completed works has finished off this period style home renovation and the client was over the moon. 16.01.2022 TSG was recently commissioned to create a stunning multi hand bevelled feature stained glass window for a newly renovated bathroom in Mundaring, Western Australia. This design was created to blend in with the fresh clean white tiles and grey trim, along with adding a beautiful bevel cluster adds a level of sophistication to enhance this windows appeal. 13.01.2022 Before & After. TSG has had the pleasure of recreating an authentic stained glass entry feature set for a circa traditional weatherboard home in the leafy suburb of Subiaco, Western Australia. We transformed an old and tired entry way with not only new stained glass, but also new highlight joinery and external sidelight cricket bats to help create the authentic quality upgrade. This transformation is part of the clients ongoing restoration works at this premise and to say th...e least, she was ecstatic at the final outcome once we finished the install. This stained glass entry set was custom designed by Glass Artist Kim Fitzpatrick many years ago and was waiting for the right client. 12.01.2022 TSG has just completed stage 1 of the new RSLWA refurbishment project in the Perth City. In conjunction with Pindan Construction, Kim Fitzpatrick - Glass Artist personally completed the install this morning and clients were over the moon. This historic stained glass window was meticulously restored and repaired to be relocated into its new home and has deep and historic value for all ANZACS that have fallen. It has been a pleasure working on this significant restoration of Perth Historic Treasures and we look forward to Stage 2. Stay tuned for more!

12.01.2022 Sometimes Kim gets the pleasure to be very creative for his clients on a personal level and this project is no different. From the minute Bob and Kim met they hit it off and the detailed brief was enough for Kim to go to work creating the image Bob had in his mind and how he wanted this stained glass feature to look. Kim has done Mermaids before but this was different, Bob wanted the Mermaid to look dark, ominous and almost eerie, with the old tall ship in the sunset and the ...Mermaid leaning into the shallow waters inviting the young soul to join her in the depths. Our team completed this hand painted stained glass feature by combining mouth blown selected glasses and with multiple kiln firings, we were able to create the detail required to tell the story that Bob was after. The new door was recently created and has now been installed and Bob is delighted with the outcome as we are too. 11.01.2022 Screening rooms never looked so beautiful! TSG recently finished a classic Art Deco installation where we provided all new solid Jarrah timber French doors and custom made authentic period style leadlights to match existing. We matched not only custom made bevelled glass but also the rectangle convex kiln slumped glass inserts to complete the authentic feel with many traditional clear textured glasses sourced to match existing. Clients are very happy with the final outcome and more windows to come as they restore their classic period style home here in Western Australia.

11.01.2022 Follow on from last 2 posts. This art glass port hole is now fully leaded up and cemented and is curing as we speak. Next step is to clean and polish before transporting to site for final installation into custom rolled aluminium double glazed frame. Watch this space for these amazing pics yet to come.

10.01.2022 TSG recently were commissioned to remove this heritage listed front entry stained glass set and restore and repair all broken glass sections and bring it back to original. The front door panels were fully re-leaded, repaired and all other windows acid dipped, repaired, re-cemented and polished. The clients were very impressed with the final outcome and we are now working on more restoration within the home due to the great work we have just completed in the historic home in Cottesloe, Western Australia. 08.01.2022 TSG was recently was commissioned to create a one off Artistic stained glass port hole feature window for a man cave. The client and I went over many concepts... and colours and eventually came up with this Mandala style stained glass feature. The window is designed with a custom made solid Jarrah frame, with wrought iron fittings and hinges, as this window pivots and opens as a breeze way in the summer months. This window includes beautiful mouth blown selenium German antique glass and handmade streaky gold pink bullseye imported glass from America, alongside Amber water glass and gold glass nuggets. The kiln fired hand painted detail adds a level of intricacy that takes this window to the next level. The client was over the moon with this feature and we loved working on this beautiful stained glass porthole window that not only sparkles under natural light but also creates amazing reflections as seen in other pics. 05.01.2022 TSG was commissioned to create a one off maritime style design porthole stained glass window (Kim Fitzpatrick - Glass Artist), based around the nautical compass that was to go into a new home in Busselton, Western Australia. 05.01.2022 At TSG we regularly get asked to repair and fully restore authentic period style leadlights. In this case, the client had a tired old door panel with some breaks in it. The client was in lock down and decided to get some house renovations and repairs ticked off the to do list. The front door leadlight was removed by our specialists and the opening boarded up. The leadlight was then brought to our studio where we cleaned, repaired and matched all broken glass segments. It was ...then fully releaded, recemented and polished, as well as all new copper wires and reinforcing bars. The end result is a brand new fully restored period style art deco leadlight, ready for another 60+ years.
