Well done to this mornings VIPR class for successfully building this one up in our June challenge... 21.01.2022 Numbers have a huge roll in fitness training - we measure training frequency, volume, duration and results. Getting the numbers 'right' for you is a big part of achieving your results. There are a few very specific numbers that you can use in goal setting to support the achievement of your goal. This week Lachlan and Sim are available to help you with your numbers and your goals. With our new COVID-Safe plan we are optimistic that we will open for Personal Training from Monday 8 June and for Group Training from Monday 15 June. These modified dates will mean changes for some virtual class times and some PT sessions so please stay tuned. We will be in touch to confirm your appointments for next week very soon. 19.01.2022 Finding ways to keep hamstrings strong and conditioned when running isnt an option is a challenge. This Pilates single leg kick exercise is a perfect solution. Its one of the exercises I teach in the Pilates Intro Program ... looks easy ... isnt easy. This awesome little set of movements requires balance, muscle strength, rhythm, control ... so many things. 17.01.2022 Pilates Watching movement in slo-mo allows me to see both strengths and weaknesses in muscles and movement. We are working on building this one up in Fridays Pilates class. Its been brilliant for strengthening glutes, improving balance and range of motion through the hip complex as I recondition my injured ankle to return to running. What you feel when you do it is as important as what you see, so dont try this at home unless youve done Pilates - instead come and join us on Friday morning to feel it for yourself. 14.01.2022 In light of today's announcement by the Premier - let's stay safe and stay healthy. Please use the MindBody App to check in to your class or PT for contact tracing purposes. As always - please sanitise or wash your hands when you enter the studio and before you leave. Santiser is provided at every workout station and at the front door. There is soap and hand towels available if you prefer to hand wash. Please ensure you keep your distance - a minimum of 1.5m from any other person inside the studio. We are awaiting clarity around whether masks are required when exercising. Should this be a mandatory requirement we will do our best to provide masks for you. Please bring / wear your own if you wish. Thankyou for your co-operation and support. We appreciate it very much.

This re-opening plan is now under review following the Queensland Governments announcement today that gyms can re-open, with restrictions, from midday tomorrow.
