The premier visited Rappville and Nymboida to offer her personal thanks and to reassure impacted communities by the summer bushfires, that they have not been forgotten. ... Theo volunteers with the NSW Rural Fire Service as a Brigade Training Officer and Community Engagement Officer, aiding evacuations, leading his fire fighting crew and relaying safety messages to residents. He was instrumental in supporting the community through the recent Busby’s Flat Fire that tore through Rappville.

16.01.2022 Applications to the NSW Training Awards are submitted via an online portal. It is highly recommended that you sit down with the person you are nominating and submit the application together. You will need to access all the information you have prepared, including your own nominator comments and the individual’s responses to the selection criteria. To start, you will need to go to the online portal (trainingawardsnsw.awardsplatform.com) and register your details (i.e. name, email and password). Make sure you don’t enter the nominee’s details here. Once you register, you will receive a verification email. When you click the link included in the email, you will be taken back to the portal. 14.01.2022 Congratulations to Graham Bramley, VET Coordinator and Kevin Lewis, Principal from St Paul's Catholic Secondary College, Kempsey for winning the School Pathways... to Vet Award 2020 at the Australian Training Awards last Friday evening! There were 9 entries in this category with 3 finalists including: Sunshine Coast Technical Trade Training Centre (Caloundra State High School) - Queenslan More than 400 local employers have hosted SCTTTC students for structured workplace learning, resulting in solid employment outcomes for young graduates across the Sunshine Coast. Tasmanian Secondary Colleges RTO - Tasmania TSC RTO manages the training and assessment of VET programs across 21 school sites in Tasmania. TSC RTO makes a significant contribution to the VET sector in Tasmania. To beat these finalists was a major achievement for a small regional country school. St Paul's relationships with families and collaboration with community and industry, in addition to their innovative delivery of an Enterprise HSC was key to winning the award.
