14.01.2022 What a fantastic start to 2012 with Easter been and gone. We now have new training rooms built to give our students and trainers more privacy! Many students are taking advantage of the fantastic funding available through the Victorian Training Guarantee.

13.01.2022 Kate has worked and studied in the Children Services industry since 1997, working and building her skills and knowledge throughout. She has experience with a wide variety of age groups and different developmental stages. I really enjoy working for VTG being a trainer in Children’s Services bringing passionate people into the childcare industry and being there to help guide them through the learning process and train them in a profession that I am so passionate about . At VTG we pride ourselves in being the best and helping our students the best we can, to develop and learn new and exciting things about child development.

05.01.2022 A quick introduction from Jenny I was born and raised in Kyabram, Northern Victoria, on a dairy farm. Throughout my High School Years I actively volunteered at a local Kindergarten, and it was from here I realised I had developed a passion for working with Children. The course I studied involved Mother Craft Nursing which also gave me a greater insight into newborns and working in the Maternity Sector After completion of my studies, I moved into the long Day Care Sector. ... A highlight for me was spending 14 very rewarding years, in a centre as an Assistant Director and was blessed with a wonderful team of staff who were committed to offering a quality program for the families in this very close knit community. In 2007 I started teaching, it was here that I clearly decided that this was an area where I was able to pass on my many years of valuable Child Care knowledge and experience to eager students just starting out. The initial attraction to The Victorian Training Group was not only the flexibility of the training but also the innovative, current training package that is exciting and relevant to meeting the needs of the students. I am finding that my role as a Trainer and Assessor is extremely rewarding. Through this training we are helping to ensure that this growing industry consists of not only quality Early Childhood educators but people who genuinely display the passion required to care for the children of our future.
