04.01.2022 Melbourne's Metropolitan Railway System 1854-2019 shows the entire history of Melbourne's passenger railways in a single A1 poster format. At the moment it can only be purchased online at trainsandtrams.com - all the retail outlets which normally sell it are closed due to the coronavirus epidemic. As a special lockdown special, I am offering a free copy of my Melbourne tramways map and Victorian railways map with every copy purchased until 13 September.... Please note that this offer relates to sales from the trainsandtrams.com website only.

04.01.2022 A brief update on the Sydney tram map. Pretty much ready to go, however I still need to wait for the L3 Kingsford extension to open before I get the map printed and on sale. In the meantime, here's a little detail from the almost finished product (without the background image, which will be of Circular Quay in the 1920s). The opaque area covering central Sydney is expanded and explained in greater detail in the bottom left hand corner of the map. Needless to say, the finished product will be clear and sharp!!!

04.01.2022 On holiday in Port Fairy, where Ironbird Bookshop in Sackville St has just put The History of Victoria’s Railways on sale.
