19.01.2022 Here at The Tranquil Garden Nursery I'm going to be running a Dazzling and Delightful Dahlia ramble this will be a guided walk coming up later this month through the Dahlia gardens. I'm after after a family on the Mid North Coast with up to four people to be part of a free dry run for up.to an hour of flower gazing. This option also can be for a family you know on the Mid North coast that you may like to gift this to. Please message me and we can organise a time. 19.01.2022 This afternoon I was watering the garden and gazing dreamily at the poppies that have opened I've had some lovely locals buying lemons , oranges and eggs from me today. 19.01.2022 Pillowcases growing and proliferating on trees here at The Tranquil Garden Nursery. Protecting nectarines, peaches, figs and soon the apple, Quince and pear trees will have the same strange covers. They do seem to work well.on Persimmons however. I use these as I've had good success and no bats, birds or other lovely Animals have been caught and harmed as they do frequently in netting, particularly the black variety.... I don't bag all the fruit, I'm happy to share it with the birds, the bats , the possums that live in the sheds here and of course other humans. #thetranquilgardennursery #fruittoshare #wildlifematters #mymountainhome #buildingadream #organicisbest

15.01.2022 Joanna duck is about to be put back with flock after egg bound symptoms. Flopping along not using legs and swollen in vent region. Treated with homeopathic Silica, Pulsatilla and given a calcium injection. Had a swimming session in my bath in slightly warm water and enjoyed herself.... 15.01.2022 Just what goes into mailing the live perennial plant bundle. Plants such as Chrysanthemums Salvia, windflowers, Shasta Daisies, Echinacea, Yarrow and Asters i send this way. First unearthed and trimmed, wrapped up snug and labelled. Then mailed via Express post.... It's heartening that a customer told me she accidentally forgot about her plants and kept in shade still in box they were ok. She is a wonderful customer who has had a rough trot. She has let me know with TLC they are recovering. So I know they do well in the post. This bundle is available via my website at www.tranquilgarden.com.au or on Facebook. Alternatively you can visit The Tranquil Garden Nursery on a weekend and select the plants from potted plants or freshly dug from the Cottage gardens. Open 11-2pm. 05.01.2022 A tale of two Yarrows also known as Achillea. The first picture shows a well established Terracotta Yarrow where it gets a good amount of sun but not afternoon summer scorching heat. It's also in a spot where it stays moist and water flows through when it rains. The second Yarrow picture is another Terracotta transplanted from a position which had sandier soil with less sun....
