25.01.2022 Last night the travelling Turtles met some new baby loggerhead turtles on the beach @monreposturtleexpress They were so small and strong and what an experience to watch them make their way out to sea. The wait was Long (you really need to book four months in advance to no wait for hours). 24.01.2022 1 year on the road! Wishing we werent stopped to work, but only 3 more weeks and then we get to head off adventuring again with some money in the bank. We are loving home schooling. The cat loves this lifestyle - and yep, she enjoys sleeping on the mat at the bottom of the stairs! We love the adventure, the slow paced life, the time for family and learning new things together.... Found a nice spot to set up camp on a very dry Laura River bank We managed to get the new tent set up for the first time pretty easily and had a fire going in no time. 08.01.2022 When you're on the Nullarbor and the husband wants to go check out this cave, so we drive 7 or 8 km down a dirt track to a cave in the middle of nowhere to find it is full of Dead Animals! #wherekangaroosgotodie It was mostly kangaroos but also a cat, goat and sheep...we think. The girls were intrigued but grossed out all at the same time. Miss cat loving Emily(12), did not want to believe it was a cat skull.
