01.01.2022 Wander Out Yonder. Things have been a bit quiet lately (for obvious reasons) so me and the fam decided to take a little trip away to celebrate my birthday and to have a break from our daily routine. We spent 3 nights in Albany and 1 night in Pemberton (not enough). Albany is a coastal town known for its beautiful beaches and whaling history. They have several little museums including the ANZAC museum and plenty of sight seeing such as the wind farm and The Natural Bridge. The...re’s plenty of wineries and breweries, I picked myself up a delicious bottle of gin from the Margaret River Distilling Co. Pemberton was a beautiful place, we stayed at the RAC Karri Valley Resort in a cabin that was over the lake. The resort was amazing, I will definitely go back. On the way we went to the valley of the giants treetop walk in Denmark which is home to the majestic tingle trees. Pemberton has some beautiful national parks with plenty of walking trails, it’s honestly full of natural beauty. On our way home we stopped at Gnomesville, home to an estimated 10,000 gnomes! Overall it was a great trip, though I wish I could travel interstate I do feel lucky that we are free to travel WA. Where have you travelled to lately? Are you planning an intrastate trip?
