21.01.2022 I've wandered thru castles ancient, where ghosts of royalty ruled. Sailed along The Loch Ness, where Nessie has us all fooled. Swam in The mighty Amazon in its warm and chocolate water, wandered about Bannockburn, where the Scottish committed slaughter. Climbed the snowy Andes to the fabled City in the Clouds, pushed my way thru Delhi and its teeming, scrambling crowds. Stared in awe at The Taj Mahal and had a little cry, a monument to eternal love and all built by a guy! Saw... anacondas, sloths, and dolphins pink and grey flew above The Nazca Lines and had no words to say. Wandered thru Rosslyn Chaple, could the Holy Grail still be there? Saw Uluru at sunrise, felt the magic in the air. I took so much for granted, there's so much more to see, Japan, Canada, Alaska but Egypt beckons me. Stuff you, COVID 19, you're messing up my life, my travel bug is biting hard and causing me much strife! So thought I'd reflect upon my travels and write a little ditty, cos not being able to go anywhere is making Lizzy shitty!! 20.01.2022 Coronavirus in Numbersand Why We Really Shouldn’t Panic. BE AWARE NOT ALARMED So, here it goes:... 80,000 People are Sick with Coronavirus at the Moment of which 77,000 are in China. If you contract Coronavirus, this still is not a cause for alarm, because: 81% of the Cases are MILD 14% of the Cases are MODERATE and only 5% of the Cases are CRITICAL This means that if you do get the virus, you are most likely to recover from it. This means that if you are under 50 years of age, and not living in China, you are more likely to win the lottery which is a 1 in 45,000,000 chance! NOW, Let’s take one of the worst days so far the 10th of February. Whilst we were enjoying our Public Holiday, 108 persons in CHINA died of Coronavirus. BUT, on the same day 26,283 people died of Cancer 24,641 people died of Heart Disease 4,300 people died of Diabetes and on that day, Suicide, unfortunately, took more lives than the virus did, by 28 times. Moreover, Mosquitoes kill 2,740 people every day, HUMANS kill 1,300 fellow humans every day and Snakes kill 137 people every day. The advice is simple! We should cherish life every single day. We should care for our lives always, and not only when we are afraid of some virus or other hitting our shoresoh, and don’t forget to wash your hands! The covid - 19 is being monitored very closely in the travel industry.

04.01.2022 Well what a year 2020 has become... This Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to rapidly evolve and while it’s effecting all businesses and every person in some way its really hit the travel industry hard and at this point in time the majority of travel plans for all Australians over the next couple of months are having to be cancelled or amended in some way and for how long this continues know one really knows Because of this you can probably all imagine that I am being abso...lutely inundated with calls, messages and emails from everyone wanting to know what it means for their trip and what their options may be. I am working tirelessly at the moment going through each and every booking but I am having to prioritize and work in date of departure. My goal as always is to seek the best outcomes for you all but it does take time so I ask you please to be patient during this time. If your travel is beyond 31 May many suppliers do not have their waivers of cancellation/amendment fees out this far so I’ll continue to monitor yours bookings and will get in touch with you in the near future. I’d also like to take this time to thank you all. I am so lucky to have so many amazing clients out there and I can’t wait until this is all over and we are happily chatting about your future travel plans again. x
