21.01.2022 A HUGE BLOW TO THE VETERAN COMMUNITY. As a lot of you are aware @heroes_on_the_homefront has been working very closely with the Ex-Military Rehabilitation Centr...e Inc.military Rehabilitation Centre, donating Timber and a brand new Makita tool kit on Monday to better equip the centre for new projects for younger veterans. Today the unthinkable happened and in the blink of an eye the centre has been destroyed by fire. Not only were our first Memorial tables destroyed but hundreds of thousands of dollars of tools, memorabilia and equipment leaving a huge hole in the Veterans space. We are devastated that a few steps foward has turned into a massive step back and we are now without a space and the equipment to ensure these vital veterans projects can carry on.

15.01.2022 ATTENTION IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT PLEASE READ! Yesterday, we found out that the Ex-Military Rehabilitation Centre Inc. was destroyed by a fire including all equipment inside. This is a devastating blow for the veterans and their families using the centre as well as the numerous sponsors and supporters who are invested in its success. Our good friend and founder of Heroes on the Homefront charity, Luke Adamson, is one of the people who has spent countless hours helping dev...elop the centre. Heroes on the Homefront support veterans and their families after they return home from military service and transition back into the civilian community. We have been working closely with Luke to donate timber for exciting new projects that the veterans have been eager to begin. Their centre included an expensive collection of equipment that facilitated this work. On Monday, they added to this collection after receiving a generous donation of Makita tools from Heroes on the Homefront, which completed the initial set up requirements. After all that hard work these guys were finally seeing results but that was all taken away from them yesterday. Our hearts go out to everyone involved in the centre. They need your help to rebuild.
