10.01.2022 My apologies everyone I haven't been posting much over the last couple of months PNG is in a SOE, shut off to us all, Id like to thank a few guys who have assisted the porters and families last I looked they had raised around $7000 for them as if there is no treks, there is no tourists & their income has diminished to support there families, Please when this Covid19 has gone I beg of you please visit anywhere in PNG and support the Melanesian people, dont support big tour com...panies look for locals a lot are on facebook Ill gladly share, Im not in this for cash, this is not my livelihood I do this so I can assist money get to the people who need it, The locals as I went on a cruise a few years ago and was disgusted how pno carnival treat the villagers a 70 yr old grand mother hd a dry throat and they wouldnt even let her have a cup of water, I filled a bottle for her and her aged hubby as well, argued with security and staff, my kids and i ended up emptying the water tank for the people, absolute multi million dollar industry and they put the locals on parade like a circus show, so if you go to PNG support the people not the businesses. I have been sidetracked with my son lately he wants to do podcast or youtuibe stuff so I have been buying cheap recording gear so he can do a podcast he is 12, But once things are moving again I shall return,, Sorry Gen Mac had to steal it See more
