25.01.2022 Construction of a 6 metre wide road on a surveyed road started with installation of concrete pipes through a steep gully on a creek line. Once the crossing was in, access was gained to start the cut and fill of the road. Batters were cut and topsoiled and pipes were installed for drainage. A short stop for a few days of heavy rain and we were onto carting rubble. The road is not yet finished but very close only needing a final trim and roll and it’s done.

02.01.2022 The job before the Christmas break was a 500m extension to the 6m wide road we constructed earlier this year then a large 2.8m deep site cut for a shed. We shifted approx 4000 tonne of fill cut from the shed site to help fill the road to make the access for heavy vehicles easier on the steep slopes. Next stage it carting in over 1200 tonne of rubble early next year.
