19.01.2022 Love watching the new girls getting used to the big wide world. They stay close to the trailer but love to explore as well. And stretching their wings.

19.01.2022 It’s nearly October and it’s bloody snowing.

19.01.2022 The winter migration has happened. Busy busy here moving the hens before this big forecast rain this week. We have to bring the lady’s up close to the house as this is the only paddock we can get into to feed, collect eggs and care for the hens. The rest of the farm is just to wet. And this hen was naughty and didn’t go to bed last night. She got a ride up to the new paddock with the tractor.

13.01.2022 All hens sold thanks everyone enjoy your lady’s We have 21 x 18 week old Hyline hens left for sale. Point of lay hens. Just babies. They are for pick up in east trentham and there $23 a hen. Stupid Facebook won’t let me post them on there grrr!!

12.01.2022 One happy mother hen here today. So noticed this young lady in the new nest box checking it all out. Was so proud a hen was looking. To then go in and see the little darling has laid the first egg in the new fancy rollaway.

You have worked so hard on this trailer and even did your back which I hope feels better soon. It’s now out of the workshop and ready for the new lady’s to call this trailer home tomorrow. 04.01.2022 People ask me why I haven’t moved the hens yet. The paddock’s are so wet still. As you can see by this spring this is why. Water is everywhere still. And now the paddock’s that we would move them to are only a few weeks away from bailing for hay. Sorry about my husband swearing in the video.

03.01.2022 We have a overachieving hen and a underachieving hen this week. But most of all this nice weather has most of our lady’s up and running fabulously.
