07.01.2022 The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for people in North East and parts of East Gippsland, Northern Country and West and South Gippsland Forecast Districts. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging, locally destructive winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include East of Bairnsdale, Falls Creek and Omeo.
