19.01.2022 Had a bit on today! Started with some bike maintenance in the morning ready for technical inspection, and we also had a quick look at a few sections before official practice 1. The sections we looked at were right on the ocean, across some crazy concrete blocks (with even crazier holes between them ) and a few other man made sections. The loop to the practice area went straight through town, so there was a little bit of negotiating Spanish traffic involved.. the practice are...a itself was on the edge of a cliff with spectacular views of the ocean and very grippy rocks afterwards we had riders briefing followed by the annual women’s meeting. 18.01.2022 Happy Team Australia here in Ibiza. The girls finished up in 7th which is up from last year and I hear they put in some fantastic rides. The boys finished up in 5th which is also up from last year and ahead of last years winners. We didn’t quite nail a couple of key moments but otherwise were a super team! Both teams happy with improvements and can see real opportunities for next year! Thanks sooo much to our super star minders and Phil for the help. The whole team was incredible today. 17.01.2022 So the first day of the tdn week has kicked off for the team. After we all rode and pushed hard at the World Round we decided to have a casual day. We were all a tad sore in the body so it was a good chance to rest up and start fresh again. We pulled all the bikes out and gave them a once over in order for the week. Non of the bikes suffered to much damage from the past comp. All of us boys converted our bikes from a 250 back to a 300. Must say it was a sight with tools and engine bits spread out from 3 bikes. The girls changed oils and did filters etc. The minders services and checked their bikes also. So we’re good to go, training tomorrow as a team getting ready for the tdn. 17.01.2022 Little bit of a setback for this year's team. My rental car was broken into last night. My helmet, boots, riding gear and team oils where stolen. Now off to the police station. Rosa from GRO has come in to give me a hand. I'll keep you posted but don't hold much hope of getting anything back.

16.01.2022 On Saturday, 41 enduro riders from around northern Tasmania participated in a guided trail ride to raise money for this year’s TdN team. The ride was a 100km loop, led by Daniel Fenton (Team Minder), and included a support vehicle to carry fuel and cook the riders lunch. The event was very well supported and managed to raise $2000 for the team. Well done Daniel and team.

15.01.2022 Nice and early start today for the team. Drove down to the paddock to get some practice on the bikes after cleaning and modifying them all yesterday. We used our morning going back through the sections from the World Round. We also practiced our boomerang skills ready to perform a demo at TdN. 11.01.2022 We must give a massive thanks to the Tasmanian Trials Community. With their TdN fundraising efforts this year. The Tasmanian Trials Club, raised $3000, from coaching days, Scott Trial and demo days. Daniel Fenton organised a trail ride and raised $2000. A donation from Hargreaves of $500 and another $370 from raffle ticket s sales. That's a total of $5870. Well done guys your support is greatly appreciated. Phil Whittle, Team Manager.

05.01.2022 Today was a busy day for the team. We had another opportunity to practice and walk the sections in the morning. Then the parade, this year all the teams rode through town to the marina for the presentation of the teams followed by Qualification! We took the opportunity for some team pictures while we had everyone in their new S3 kit in such a stunning location! Kyle and Connor rode qualification for the boys with an impressive 4th, whilst myself and Lillie rode for the girls ...with 7th. The real competition begins tomorrow!
