24.01.2022 TRIBE QUEEN, Nerida: I joined Tribe last year because I was literally so tired of feeling weak and exhausted for no reason. I felt that my body had the potential to feel better but I had no idea how to do that. ... My assumption on how to be healthy was lots of cardio and a restricted diet which both were so unappealing to me so I was keen to see if Tribe could offer an alternative. And they did. Tribe has empowered and encouraged me in so many ways and has shown me the amazing things my body can do. I no longer crash every afternoon and need coffee to get me to the end of the day and eating has finally become so satisfying with zero guilt. I’m finally nourishing my body and it loves it! My favourite part of tribe is how holistic it is. It’s not just fitness and nutrition based but also focuses on moods and mindsets. It’s given me the freedom to discover new ways to think about myself and I am finally loving how I look and most importantly feel. I no longer see my size as an indication of worth which was such a challenge before and I am now so proud of what my body has learnt to do and how strong my body has become. I have FINALLY learnt to give myself grace and permission to love myself. My favourite class is strength. I love feeling so powerful and sharing that feeling with so many like minded women is beautiful. We celebrate and encourage each other so genuinely because we know just how amazing we all are and how hard we are working. Having the knowledge on how to lift safely had given me confidence to lift more than I ever thought I could and I feel in total control. I’m most excited to keep seeing what more my body can do. It has been such a fun journey so far and knowing that each week has something different to try is what makes coming to the gym so easy. Every class is unique and I’ve never been bored. I treasure my Tribe so much and I’m so happy I have finally found them! - Badass babe, Nerida W Words cannot describe how special Nerida is to us. She inspires, sparkles and brightens up the room every damn day. The no filter laughs she brings and the way she shows up every dam session and makes the magic happen is truly incredible

23.01.2022 Gyms suck. Since covid, and the shut down of gyms, people really took the time to re evaluate where they are. It put a hold on everything and they had to go inward. Since the re opening, we have been FLOODED with women signing up, applying for programs and they all express that they needed to find out if there was ‘something more’ to their day to day. ... Honestly, if you’re still stuck on the treadmills or machine circuits, bored, not getting results and are too scared to venture into the weights area because... 1. You don’t know what you’re doing 2. It feels like everyone’s judging you Girl, get outa there! Sometimes, gyms suck. It feels overwhelming and scary to walk into a gym, and once you’re in, you wonder about and end up on the thing you know that technically you shouldn’t have to play for because you could just, go for a walk or ride a bike outside (cardio area). But you really wanna actually get results, and you know that weights is where it’s at, the thing is, you don’t know how anything works and are a little worried that you may injure your self, let alone look silly . So... you book a PT. But, how do you know if the ‘trainer’ really does care or know what he’s talking about as he glances at you from above His phone as you complete your $100 Pt session (or complimentary session) that was really just you doing what they told you and handing you a program card.. Maybe, Pt isn’t for me you think as you walk into the gym again and head strait back to what you know. IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY! THERE IS MORE OUT THERE FOR YOU ‘GYM’ has to be more than just weights and people in a room. 22.01.2022 Free to move: pain free and with confidence. When clients come to Tribe they are often dealing with remaining trauma of past injuries and situations gone wrong within a gym environment. I can’t deadlift because of XYZ... My ankles are weak, I can’t XYZ I don’t XYZ, I know it will hurt XYZ They have been going through life with the ever lingering fear that their body will fail them. They have to second guess everything. They don’t trust their body or themselves. Of course, this lack of confidence is a learned response. Last time they trusted, things went to shit. The paradox is, if they are focusing only on what they ‘can’t’ do, that’s all they will attract in life. More of the thing they want to avoid! They have so many beliefs that are simply a result of poor training and lack of body awareness. It subconsciously effects many areas of their lives, because, how you do one thing, is how you do everything. BUT... What if you didn’t have to second guess any more? What if you could play sport, or go hiking with your friends without worrying if your knees or back will hold up? What if you simply have not exposed yourself to the right learnings ...yet? What if you actually could do the things you were scared of if you actually learned how to perform them correctly? You could rewrite the pattern and belief. We focus on Education rather then treating you like a robot and just telling you what to do. We Educate Women to Rise. To take control, understand and own their body, life and mind! 17.01.2022 Educating Women to Rise. To rip apart the ever running stories that exist in our subconscious to keep us small. To RISE up together realising that we have been betted against each other as women since the beginning. ... We compare ourselves To each other and are taught that this is just the way it is I’m not like most girls I hang out with the boys because girls are too much drama girl stuff is silly, boy stuff is cool. We are still part of a society that neither likes nor trusts women, particularly when they’re working together. When we imagine a witch, we usually picture an elderly woman dressed in black, a cackling crone with knobbly knees and a warty nose and a cat or toad in her arms. Back in the day, some say thousands, it could be millions of women, were persecuted in Europe's witch hunting craze. The Western witch, at least, has always been thought of as someone who was both female and bad, who joined covens and practised the black kind of magic. We think the real magik is inside women. If a witch is a woman on the margins, then we're all witches. And if all women are witches because they're on the margins, then groups of women collaborators, groups, covens are the witchiest of all. We have been taught to see women’s friendships and groups of women as suspicious or not to be trusted, or that these relationships are always based in competition and the myth of compulsory female rivalry (especially for men). For a long time, we've lived in a culture that tries to spread us out so it can see us and so we can't see each other, except from the corners of our eyes. Men are afraid that women will laugh at them, while women are afraid that men will kill them’ but the truth is that women together are a fundamental force for change. It’s time to take the scales off our eyes. To look at what stories we run in the back of our minds as women, about other women, expectations, the ‘should do’s, because we do a fucking lot. Imagine if we did these things together?! We could be what they have been trying to suppress. What they fear. What they know deep down is a powerful unstoppable Magic (magik). So, let’s RISE up, step into our power together. It’s time to EDUCATE ourselves. You are enough, you are the answer and you are bloody magnificent, girl! 12.01.2022 TRIBE QUEEN I joined Tribe 11 in June because I was sick of paying for a gym membership I never used, I wanted to make a change, and do something to improve my physical and mental wellbeing. I came across Tribe in a google search and it immediately sparked my interest a group where women are supported to be fearless, empowered and unstoppable. My favourite thing about being a part of our Tribe is how FUN it is! I have loved every class I have tried from abs and ass t...o bodyrolls and booze. Everyone I have met is so kind, supportive, and genuine. Morgan is an amazing coach who genuinely cares about every members individual wellbeing and is always there to help. I am so much more confident, my mental state has improved, I’m feeling strong and I have done things I never thought I could do! I am so excited to keep smashing goals with my Tribe I look forward to every single class and how amazing I feel afterwards. 11.01.2022 Do you feel that you have challenges reaching goals? Maybe it’s that you lose motivation, or maybe you don’t see the results. This can feel frustrating, and usually ends up in the inevitable ‘fall off the wagon’, which brings with it feelings of shame and self doubt.... When these things happen, it’s usually the ‘lack of clear outcome’ that is the real culprit here! It turns out that goals, like being ‘fitter, healthy, strong, more toned, confident’, are FLUFFY words. If you want to learn how to easily reach those goals, first Let take a look at our brains RAS SYSTEM: The Reticular Activating System (RAS) is a bundle of nerves at our brainstem that filters out unnecessary information so the important stuff gets through. The RAS is the reason you start to see your ‘new car’ model and colour everywhere. It’s why you can tune out a crowd full of talking people, yet immediately snap to attention when someone says your name or something that at least sounds like it. If we give our brain a clear image, pattern, or task, it will start to see them appear everywhere. The reason why you fail to reach goals is because your fluffy goals of being ‘Fitter, healthy, strong, more toned, or confident’ leave your brain with NO EVIDENCE of what to look for to know that you have completed the goal or are moving toward it! So, When setting goals, you need to KNOW YOUR OUTCOME. We do this by asking great questions: What is the evidence of achieving this goal?How will I know when I’ve done it? - what will I be able to do, see, where will I be - etc How will I know when I’m healthy?. What is the evidence that I’m strong?. How will I know when I’m fitter? What will I be able to do, see, where will I be? When I’m leaner, what will the evidence be? Write it down! Now your RAS system has a TANGIBLE goal. You will be able to notice all the sparkles of wins along the way and you will know when you reach your goal or have the chance to pivot them! 03.01.2022 If we tell ourselves the same story over and over again it becomes a BELIEF. From here, it makes it way into our VALUES which is what our identity is made of. The thing is, if we believe something, WE WILL ALWAYS LOOK FOR MORE EVIDENCE TO CONFIRM THIS BELIEF.... Think about all the negative self talk that goes on inside your own head... Good news, this can work in a positive way also! You are enough. Say it with me: I am enough. (Replace this word with any thing like, ‘whole, love, brave, strong’). It feels awkward at first and almost unbelievable. But if we are ever to break the scarcity lie, we must not only say it, but actually believe that "I am enough." Right now... today... exactly as I am. Tell yourself the I am enough story over and over until it becomes a belief (which then becomes your values and then, your apart of your identity).
