25.01.2022 Let's talk posture! Habits such as slouching at our desk, sitting on our phone and periods of inactivity cause muscle fatigue and tension that can lead to poor posture. Symptoms of poor posture include back pain, rounded shoulders and neck pain.... You can improve your posture and spinal health by making a few lifestyle adjustments. Visiting a Myotherapist will help relieve and release your overactive tight muscles. From a movement perspective, Pilates helps with postural awareness and activation of the small muscles within your body which in turn assists with our "ideal posture". Want to know more about posture and what small changes you can make in your day to day life? Chat with us next time you are in the clinic.

12.01.2022 Hi Everyone! Thank you very much for reviewing us on Google and Facebook over the last few weeks. I also really appreciate all the amazing feedback we have received in person this year!... Your recommendations to family and friends is a huge acknowledgement of the positive experience you have had at Trigger Health. It is genuinely humbling to see the impact that conversation, treatment and connection can have on us both mentally and physically. Lastly, congratulations to Blake Diggin for winning our competition. Thank you! Drew

07.01.2022 Meet Drew, the man behind Trigger Health. Drew graduated from RMIT Victoria in 2006 with an Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage and Myotherapy. From there, Drew packed up and moved west in 2007 to start what is now known as Trigger Health.... Ever the professional while treating his clients, outside of the clinic Drew loves to travel, explore and jump into large pools of water. Although he does not see himself as an adrenaline junkie he loves the feeling of being in the moment and in situations where all you can think about is what you are going to do in the next few seconds. At the moment Drew is enjoying testing his body physically through running long distance and attending F45.

06.01.2022 The spine, for Joseph Pilates, was the key to physical and emotional well being. Neutral spine alignment is everything. If your spine is stiff at 30, he once said, you are old. If it is flexible at 60, you are young. Pilates develops the deep muscles of the back and abdomen to support your spine and focuses on breathing to promote better posture.
