22.01.2022 This evening i had the opportunity as one of labor’s candidates for the legislative council to introduce families from the Enfield electorate of the Indian-Australian community with their local Member of Parliament and deputy premier, John Rau and fellow legislative council candidate Emily Bourke at IAASA hall. It was great to see a number of local families and community leaders in attendance showing their support for labor and local Candidate John Rau. Our Deputy Premier has always been a strong supporter of the South Asian-Australian community. Also thanks to our great labor supporters Salisbury Councillor Chad Buchanan, Amarjit Grewal, Sidhu and Wasim Saeed.
17.01.2022 Dear friends, many of you asked for how to vote for me and Labor this Saturday. When you vote, you will be given two ballot papers. The big white ballot paper is for legislative council and to vote for me please place number 1 for Labor above the line in the box marked "K" and follow the how to vote card. On green ballot paper, please vote for your local Labor candidate by placing number 1 in front of their name to make sure we form a Labor government in our state. To ensure your vote counts, please follow how-to-vote handouts from the Labor volunteers at your local polling stations. To assist you, I have attached my how-to-vote card along with some of our local candidates.
