16.01.2022 UPDATE: Earlier this afternoon, officers at Mid North Coast Police District assisted NSW SES and other emergency services in rescuing a 66 year old man from his vehicle in rising flood waters at South Kempsey. The man sought refuge on the roof of his car until he was rescued and checked over. According to Police he is ok. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE IN FLOOD WATERS.
