08.01.2022 Attention Jabba Entertainment Artists: Since the Covid19 outbreak, Jabba Entertainment have worked non stop for our artists & have done our best to chase debts,... securing post Covid19 performance dates, provide additional cash paid work & funding through our Muso for a Mow program (this has been run at no cost from Jabba Entertainment, nor has any money crossed our hands, weve provided over 150 jobs so far with 100% of the money going to the artist which we are extremely proud of & unrivalled within our industry for this). Weve also, for the past month, run in conjunction with Australian Venue Co & The Wallaby & Mansfield Tavern, (which we are extremely grateful for) to provide free meals for our artists, every week, thanks to our national venue consultant Carl Paczensky. If you need or could use this service, contact Carl or Nathan today & your identity shall remain anonymous to anyone outside of JE. We also have provided endless amount of advice & Covid separation work letters for our artist to apply for government relief (this is also ongoing & contact your booker from JE for this, should you need it.) As well as point our artists in need, with mental health issues, in the right direction, with health professionals & provided support to them & their families in many ways. Lastly we have a huge announcement coming very soon & we will be announcing our own platform for JE artists to get an occasional (paid) gig during this Covid19 restrictions (Again from our knowledge, well be the only company & platform that the musicians will actually be paid from). 07.01.2022 Its with a Heavy heart we announce our last Triple Vegas gig for 2019 at Brooklyn Standard on Thursday 15th of July. Sol & Ward after playing local shows in Brisbane for over 20years now as Jabba & Triple Vegas & The Drivng Conditions, are taking a long service break finally. We would like to thank our band Management Geoff McGowan & Brooklyn Standard for years of loyalty & providing us the best venue in Brissy to apply our craft. Also like to thank Bardo, Harlen, Michael & ...Justin, the best Live Music Venue operators weve seen in a long long time & the absolute Legendary staff . Wed also like to thank our huge list of drummers were lucky enough to have played with for this gig over the years, in particular order: Jackie Barnes, John Carson, Paul Wheeler, Kevin Shilling, Jeff Paton, Paul Bain, & our Brother to another Mother, Kai Browning, if Ive missed any my apologies. We have 2 Shows left all up for 2019 at Brooklyn, the 1st of Aug & then the big bash then on the 15th of Aug. Wed luv to see any of you that can make it for our final hooray of 2019. 01.01.2022 We want YOU to have a cracking 4th of July, so head down to Brooklyn Standard for the biggest American party in Brisbane. Proudly supported by Brooklyn Brewery... and Jack Daniels, were celebrating for three days with special cocktails from Jack Daniels and a Brooklyn Brewery tap takeover with Defender IPA. Live music will be cranking all weekend and well be serving up an American style cookout menu.
