24.01.2022 The Trippy Tiki Taco Gods are pleased due to all the support we have been getting from so many loyal customers and also many new ones. Its very heartwarming and reassuring to be serving regulars who I was serving when I first opened in Smith St in 2006 and also from the old festival days. Gratitude to Trippys supporters Old and New and in between. We may not get everything right all the time and were definitely not perfect, but we must be doing something right. I took this cactus image when I was camping in the back of my truck in Baja around 1994. For those who havent read previous posts, were trying to make this work and the only way we can do this is by raising our prices on the delivery platforms. It will be less expensive if you come in and pickup. Order over the phone or come down. We are taking maximum precautions. ... Also, alcohol now available for all pickup orders. Pickup & Delivery 12-3 5-9 Just a reminder- it is much cheaper to call or come down and pickup your order. We are totally contactless and regularly sanitise all high touch surfaces. Delivery platforms charge us between 25 and 35%. We cannot absorb this and so unfortunately have to pass on the cost (although we still do absorb a bit of it).

On that day , a huge amount of funky people flock to @northside_records for the instore live acts and crazy amounts of vinyl get bought/sold as well as crazy amounts of tacos, cerveza and margaritas Getting smashed in the name of vinyl records. @northside_records still has some online stuff happening. 01.01.2022 The sun is setting on Trippys in St Kilda. Today will be our last day ever. I just want to thank all our very loyal Trippys community on the Southside, all our dedicated Team past and present and the many others who have contributed to the making of my ultimate dream taco facility. All good things must come to an end and nothing is permanent. We are all experiencing a profound teaching in impermanence right now. Let us appreciate all the small things and those we hold dear- nothing else matters. Trippy Taco will keep going and maybe one day return to the Southside. Until then, come over to Fitzroy where well be pumping out tacos until total lockdown and beyond! Love to all!
