25.01.2022 So...... after a very happy and successful 12 months in my boutique studio, the decision has been made to move to a new (and much bigger!) studio space. As of next week, I will be teaching Pilates from Theogenes, Level 1. Classes will still operate on a term basis.... Monday 5pm, commence 2/5. 8 week block, $96. Tuesday 10:30am, commence 3/5. 9 week block, $108. (Over 50's).... Tuesday 6:45pm, commence 26/4. 10 week block, $120. Wednesday 6:30pm, commence 27/4. 10 week block, $120. Casual session $15 (cash). Block cash payment's will be required on the first class back for the term. No refunds for missed classes, however classes can be made up on another night of that same week. Also, just a reminder that classes may be claimed on individual private health funds. The new studio area has a high client turnover, therefore I do recommend clients to purchase their own mat. Looking forward to the change!

24.01.2022 "The Core." Such a short and simple name for a super group of muscles.... The belly area usually receives most of the attention when we refer to The Core, however Multifidus also plays a crucial role in our core strength. This week in the studio, Multifidus will be found, activated and strengthened (along with some Spiralling of the Spine for something a little different!) Timetable Updates:... Friday 9:30am Beginner's has now ben changed to Tuesday 10:30am, (2-3 spots here). Tuesday 6:30pm (new class, 2 spots here) If you haven't switched on your Multifidus for a while (or ever!), perhaps its time to try something new?

23.01.2022 Term 4 is here! Pilates classes resume this week, and I feel Summer is within our reach! As much as I love being on holidays with the children, I am a routine person, so I also love getting back to routine.....And routine for me is back in the studio teaching Pilates. We have a short 9 week term, so if you are thinking about starting Pilates, the longer days and warmer weather certainly makes coming to a class so much easier. I have had some interest in pre natal Pilates, s...o if you are pregnant and would like to begin Pilates, let me know. I am also starting a Friday morning beginner's class for "mature" clients. As we get older, it is really important to maintain bone strength as well as other elements such as flexibility, balance and pelvic floor strength which help to ensure a life that is fun, functional and active! Again, let me know if your Mum, Dad, Aunt, Uncle etc would like a spot in this class. Otherwise, happy Monday and I shall look forward to seeing everyone during the week :)

19.01.2022 And while I'm on the topic of good posture...have a peek at the posture of your child next time he/she is working at a laptop/computer/iPad. And of course, your own when you text/email! Ears in line with the shoulders.....

18.01.2022 Do you feel like taking a step in a new direction this year?? Pilates classes commence next Monday night for Term 1. What's left regarding spots on mats?...... Monday night 5pm - 2 spots. Tuesday night 5:45pm - 2 spots... Tuesday 10:30am If you are over 50 (male or female), and thinking about starting Pilates, the Tuesday at 10:30am would be a great place to start. Classes are $15 per casual visit or $120 will buy you a 10 session card.

17.01.2022 Knowledge is so good for preventative health- even for the pelvic floor. Our pelvic floor isn't on show like our biceps, however I know which muscle area I would prefer to work! Every day, male or female, 3 X 5 long and short holds. For my newer clients, it can be overwhelming being presented with breathing, pelvic floor, neutral pelvis etc. Have a quick read, educate yourself and love learning how amazing our bodies are.

15.01.2022 Such a great graphic! Short, simple and super informative.

14.01.2022 Girls from tonight's class.....this is exactly what I was referring to tonight talking about long and short pelvic floor muscles and how the position of your pelvis impacts on these muscles.

13.01.2022 Term 3 is here! 10 week term, $120 for the term or $15 a casual session. Monday 5pm, Tuesday 10:30am/6:45pm and Wednesday 6:30pm. Classes are 45min in duration. Theogenes, Level 1. Private Health Rebate is available for many Private Health Funds.

09.01.2022 If you feel like starting the week off with some Pilates, there are 3 spots available in tonight's 5pm class....

05.01.2022 Term 4, a 9 week term, commences Monday the 10th of October. Class schedule for the term will be Monday 5:30pm, Tuesday 10:30am and Wednesday 6:30pm. Classes are 45min in duration and operate from Level 1 Theogenes. Casual session is $15. Term fee is $108. If you are new to the studio, and would like to try Pilates this term, please make contact through by mobile details.

01.01.2022 As with lots of aches and pains, it comes down to a simple and personal favourite topic; " good posture!"
