24.01.2022 Hi everyone. The weather is warming up but very little rain unfortunately. It will rain - I just hope it remembers to stop once its started. Our last delivery of seedlings for the year have arrived. We have a good mix, including Mouse Melons (mini cucumbers- pictured), watermelon, corn, tomato varities, lettuce, strawberries etc. Along with herbs and flowering annuals. You can also grab a bargain in our clearance seedlings. Happy gardening.

A Scotts Easy Green rotary fertilser spreader and a 20kg bag of Katek (local business) Super Grass fertilser. This fertilser is one of the best, and economical, going around. 23.01.2022 Hi everyone. We'll be closed Saturday to honour ANZAC Day. But we'll be open Sunday 8am to 4pm and Monday until 1pm. Then back to normal on Tuesday. To honour the ANZACS a grevillea has been selected to commemorate the occasion. 'The RSL Spirit of ANZAC Grevillea'. There's a great story behind this plant and part proceeds of sales goes to the RSL. Why not make room for one in your garden - great plant and great story. Happy gardening.

An evergreen plant that produces a fruit that contains a naturally sweetened pulp which, when eaten, affects the taste buds allowing highly acidic foods to be consumed without discomfort. Can be grown in large pots or tubs. Amazing. Happy gardening.

So I'm clearing out some of my bigger plants, starting with the Giant Bird of Paradise. These beauties are in 45lt bags, are over 1.8mt (from ground) tall and they're going for just $40 each. These are a great plant and need homes. Happy gardening.

16.01.2022 Hi everyone. Ants have been a major problem this year. They have been getting into the root systems of plants causing the plant to struggle or die. This granular ant killer, Fipronil, is the real deal. Recommended by pest controllers, the ants take the granules back to their nest which quickly eliminates the nest. I have used this at the nursery for over 3 years and it works. Simple as that. A 500 gram shaker bottle is $24.50. Now is the time to take control of the ants. Happy gardening.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis, Asteraceae) is one of the easiest herbs to grow and a highly versatile medicinal plantnaturally, it finds its way into the hearts and gardens of all herb lovers. It has been used for centuries, both internally and topically, to heal wounds, burns, and rashes. The sunshiny flowers are a traditional remedy for supporting the immune system and lifting the spirits. If that werent enough, the edible ray florets of the flower heads (which look like yellow petals) are bursting with antioxidant compounds. We have a few of these available now. Happy gardening.

07.01.2022 Hi everyone. Who doesnt like a good mango? (Actually I do know one person....). And one of the best mangoes is a Bowen Mango (Kensington Pride). Why not grow your own Bowen Mango tree? Easy to grow and will fruit after a few seasons. Let them grow big or keep them pruned back - which ever suits your yard. I only have 6 trees left and Im giving 6 months of fertiliser free with each one and now is the best time to get these in the ground. And they wont break the bank, just $23.50 ea for theses quality mango trees. Happy gardening.

06.01.2022 Hi everyone. New stocks of palms have arrived. Amongst them is the Kentia Palm. Reputed to be the best indoor palm around (I have to agree). They can be grown out doors as well. These look amazing and are very healthy. Also I have a few of the Blue Cane palms. Hard to get, these are a graceful palm with blue trunks. Sun hardened, healthy and ready for planting. Both of these will make great features in your indoor and/or outdoor areas. Happy gardening.
