25.01.2022 We have been going through the archives and found this documentary to share with you all from 2009! I Love This Place was the first time I co-produced a record and was a real fresh start for me - a new group of players and a fresh bunch of songs so it was an exciting time. I had changed management so Roxanne Brown was leading the charge and I had a challenge from my wife with my song writing to write some happy songs, this album still makes me smile when I hear a song off it. Take care and love to all TCD x The album I Love This Place went on to win the 2009 ARIA award plus a staggering 7 CMAA Golden Guitars.

19.01.2022 Happy Naidoc week everyone right across this country as we celebrate Aboriginal culture together as one! I’ve just been back home on country around Grafton for a men’s camp and to see my Mum, we caught and ate turtles out of our river yarned about old times , sang songs like we did as kids and to have my Son Clay share this with me as a man is so special because as you see on this video he has grown up with it all his life. I’ve fished and hunted all my life and I know a lot ...of people don’t understand eating raw grubs from trees and eating turtles and kangaroo but that’s what Naidoc week is all about ,creating understanding and learning together. I have proud bloodlines that run throughout the north coast of Nsw Gumbaynggirr and Bundjalung right down to our distant ones on NSW south coast the Yuin people. 19.01.2022 Good morning all, Wishing my beautiful girl Laurel a happy birthday today, I haven’t seen her for three weeks now and it’s killing me!! I’m in isolation in Brisbane and you could imagine how frustrating it would be being in our town and not being able to see each other ! She dropped off some home made food which was awesome and when I saw her over the veranda down stairs I nearly balled ( iso does that to a bloke)... I just want to let her feel the love today on her birthday even though I can’t hug her that’s 8 days away!! Laurel you are the rock I cling to to when life’s rivers burst it’s banks, when the water subsides you are always there, thanks for putting up with a frustrated musician with hardly any gigs this year, I know I’ve not been easy to live with but , we are still here Love you Troy xxx See more

12.01.2022 Good morning all, Well our day on the dam at Yallakool Park on Bjelke Petersen Dam was was a huge success and. incredible fun! Thanks to Roxanne Brown my manager and Dan Webbe from DWSound who does all my production all involved Heath and Rowena Sander, local council and rotary plus their volunteers all just made it a great night, the local talent sounded fantastic Connie, Andrew and Rocko warmed everyone up and Jem our Daughter warmed our hearts with a great set, having Laurel (my girl ) there to sing with me was so good I love sharing that with her XX and the band Sonni, Benj and Mick I have to say felt like an old pair of jeans more than inspiring and comfortable to make music with beautiful friends Thanks to all for the support Love to all TCDXX

12.01.2022 Just want to congratulate my girl Laurel Edwards on a fantastic radio ratings with her team mates Gary and Mark on 4KQ 693AM it was written in today’s paper that the biggest changes in breakfast came from 4KQ, which was up 2.7 points, bumping it up to a 9.9% share What ever that means I’m just stoked For a announcer that’s been on the same show and network for 28 years!
