24.01.2022 One of the Halloween props for this year. Dave looks like a King to me. #youreinmyspot

15.01.2022 Working on The Crucible costumes for Adelaides Little Theatre. The character Anne Putnam is a hardened woman whos dress is dirty and tatty. Experimenting with different applications of dirt, the apron is mainly splashes of cheap poster paint mixed with water. The grease stains were made by putting the dress on, rubbing my hands with a mixture of vegetable oil and Parisian essence, and then wiping them all down the dress (front and back), to simulate many years of greasy cooking and eating.

15.01.2022 Halloween 2015 my version of Beloved, with a Wuthering Heights bent. I used a foam wig head (and a wig). Made the body with cardboard and pool noodles, and lucked upon a beautiful nightdress at an op shop. The head stone is high density craft foam (from the hardware store). The whole thing is covered in several layers of Monster Mud, which is a mixture of joint compound and paint.
