25.01.2022 I make these for the Camping Shop next door to sell. Same Aussie canvas as my swags. Correct size to fit the supermarket 'check-out bag frame' and has the extra webbing lug to help position the bag & hold it open, just like those plastic things. You will never buy another horrible plastic bag ever again, these will last a lifetime.
22.01.2022 "True Blue Canvas to the rescue." Today's job was interesting. I had the 'wet-liner' in my workshop from the local rescue helicopter, it was originally made in the USA and was poor fitting and not a practical design. I spent quite afew hours redesigning , modifying and changing the way it will be used. Photo doesn't tell the full story, but all good now.

21.01.2022 Todays jobs included this batch of 25 Document Holders for the mines. This model hold A4 sized paperwork. (We make other sizes too). Our customer attaches the vinyl pouch to their machinery, it holds paperwork like log-books, check-lists, pre-start information and instruction manuals. This order was in bright orange with a clear plastic front. More updates soon.
20.01.2022 Some people ask me, "what is the most important tool in my workshop"? Well this is my answer ... good quality, straight & sharp sewing machine needles. This surprises most people but when you think about it, the needle is at the forefront of each and every stitch. Imagine how many hundreds of thousands of times the needle is driven through many thicknesses of industrial grade canvas. Just my thoughts ...

18.01.2022 "Does this apron make me look fat ?" ... who cares ... it will keep the workers at the local Radiator Shop safe from spills, spits & splashes. Made from heavy duty vinyl it will last a long time, even in a harsh industrial environment.

07.01.2022 Here is a fabric I've been using a fair bit of recently. It's called FRAS... which stands for Fire-Retardant-Anti-Static. This is a type of vinyl material that ...has a different top-coat (and probably a different base & sub coatings too) that has a slightly sticky feel. I use it for jobs which are used in underground mining situtations. Remember underground mines can give off dangerous gases. While normal vinyl fabrics & canvas can generate static electricity, which could, under the right circumstances, 'spark'. So FRAS fabric won't spark ... keeping local underground coal mine workers safe. See more
07.01.2022 Busy start to the year, 2 tonneau covers last week & another 1 today. Tomorrow I make a canopy on a 4WD, then start on a heap of jobs for the Coal Mines.
