15.01.2022 R U OK? Sometimes it just feels easier for people to keep it to themselves because its been that way for so long, they wouldnt know where to start anyway. Maybe they feel like theyd be burdening someone else by talking to them or bringing them down ? Theyre seen as the strong ones, the ones who have it all together and are always there for everybody else...the reasons against opening up are there for a lot of people but knowing someone is there and willing with an open heart to hear their story can give them the strength and permission they need to release whats weighing them down. Trust your intuition if youre worried about someone and if youre wrong then you just showed them you care! Give someone that permission and ask Are you Ok? Paula Grant.
