24.01.2022 Hi friends and family. Recently I put together Auzzie’s Raptor Rehabilitation Associations very first calendar featuring 13 one of a kind gorgeous images of some of Australias best birds of prey all taken by myself and two other WA photographers. The calendar will sell for $18 and will generate much-needed funds to help us continue rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing these amazing creatures back into the skies where they belong. Unfortunately, we have been delayed with the... shipment form our Australian printer so I'm extending an offer out to each every one of you to allocate yours now. We have a strictly limited quantity of 50 units and they are selling fast. If you care for and love our uniques Australian wildlife, or you have been interested in my work or even both of the above then the purchase of this calendar is your way to help conserve their existence for the generations to come and also get some of my images on display in your home or work place. If you are interested please comment below and I will allocate the stock and advise you when they arrive. From all the team at To The Moon Photography and ARRA, your support over the past year is very much appreciated. Merry Christmas. Riley Cavanagh

24.01.2022 My first real half decent snake image. (For someone who has minimal experience with snakes) This Tiger just happened to be basking in a patch of sun when a Bob-tail strolls right past him. He rose up into a defensive pose and it allowed me to make this and a few other shots. For a moment I thought the Bob-tail may get bit, but it shows that snakes do only bite as a last resort or when they need to kill for food. Herdsman Lake.

21.01.2022 A gorgeous male Nankeen Kestrel takes flight of the cliffs of Barn Hill Station in WA's north west coast. I photographed the pair hunting insect on the wing and munching them up on the rocks. They were so not interested in me that I managed to shoot this image at 200mm focal length.

15.01.2022 I'm heading out to Christmas In Elfenbrook today with the ARRA and WA Birds of prey crew. Come on down and say hi and meet some of WA's coolest raptors. I hope to see you there.I'm heading out to Christmas In Elfenbrook today with the ARRA and WA Birds of prey crew. Come on down and say hi and meet some of WA's coolest raptors.
