20.01.2022 We aren’t sure at this stage if we can open. But the tulips are beginning to pop their heads through the soil either way. We have also planted our fallow fields with meadow flowers.

15.01.2022 It is mowing day in the tulips. The grass around was left to grow longer, and today Farmer Dennis is cutting it back down to size. It is amazing what a difference it makes to the floral show, it's like the tulips have grown taller! The warm colours are really glowing. Stay safe and be kind :-)

09.01.2022 It’s Tulip planting day on the farm. After the wettest start to the year EVER, it is a difficult process. Farmers Dennis and Justin are doing a great job as they play in the mud. Our more modern planter can’t be used so we are going old school in our process. Looking forward to seeing them come up in spring.

06.01.2022 Tesselaar Tulip Festival cancelled for the first time in 67 years. It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of our much loved Tesselaar Tulip Festival for 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Our tulips are in the ground and the team at Tesselaar have been working hard to ensure we presented you with another year of amazing colour and excitement both on and off the fields.... However, with the current stage 4 restrictions it has left us with no option other than to cancel this year’s event. Please know all is not lost - our tulips will bloom for part of the season and we look forward to sharing some photos with you on social media during this time. Afterwards the flowers and bulbs will be farmed so nothing is wasted. We are sorry we can’t welcome you to the farm this year but we look forward to inviting you back in 2021 for KaBloom in autumn and the Tesselaar Tulip Festival in spring. Stay safe.

04.01.2022 We have been lucky enough to enjoy some gorgeous sunshine and warmer weather which has bought out the tulips. We are also loving the blossoms. They have stood up so well to the wind and rain. Fleming's Nurseries Flowering plum ‘Elvins’
