19.01.2022 IT’S TIME TO VACCINATE YOU BUNNY! Coming into warmer weather, we recommend to vaccinate your rabbit against Calicivirus. Melbourne's spring is predicted to be warm and wet so there will be lots of mosquitoes breeding and most likely an early start to Calici & Myxo dangers. ... A vaccination against Calici is available in Australia and is best to be administered every 6 months. Please keep your bunnies safe from biting insects, by either housing your bunny indoors or completely covering outside enclosures in insect netting.

16.01.2022 I'm Eevee! I was feeling a little unwell, so my family brought me to the Tullamaine Animal Hospital for a check up. I stayed on a drip and Dr Cam and the team ran some blood tests. When the results came back the Doc said I have this condition called Addison’s Disease. This means that my Adrenal Glands do not make enough hormones, it’s pretty rare! But with the right care and medications I should be feeling better in no time.

14.01.2022 YOUR pets are a part of our family! ARCHIE brought his brother and sister along with him today to see Dr Pam for his itchy skin. As the weather gets warmer we see a lot of pets suffering from skin allergies. These allergies can be caused by many different things such as plants and pollen's. If your dog or cat has an itch, it is always best to address that itch sooner rather than later. Excessive scratching is not only irritating but can also lead secondary infections.

09.01.2022 These are Bonnie’s teeth before and after her dental procedure. She currently eats a special dental food called Hills T/D which helps to slow tartar build up. Bonnie is not a fan tooth brushing and has regular dental cleans every 6 months to manage tartar accumulation and avoid cavities and decay. 02.01.2022 Otis is a four year old Labrador Retriever. As a puppy, he was part of the Australian Border Force detector dog program but didn't quite make the cut as he was considered a little 'too' lazy.
