24.01.2022 Innisfail Thunder Cricket travelled down to Tully today to play our Tier 2 kids at Kim Carroll Sporting Fields. Tully bowled well, taking regular wickets to keep Innisfail to 8/78 off 26 overs (total 54 runs). Jack Valeriano (2), Jayden Pacey, Alex Greenwood, Riley Lindsay and Julien Getejanc (1) took wickets. Riley Lindsay also nailed a terrific direct hit run out from the boundary with a powerful throw. In wet weather, Tully then scored 5/168 in response (total 153 runs).... Jackson Lindsay top scored with 38 runs, and with his brother Riley (20 runs) played some bruising cricket shots. Aiden Getejanc also batted well for 21 runs. Everybody contributed with the bat, protecting their wickets and running well to tick the score over nicely. Well done kids, and thank you for visiting Innisfail Monsoon.

23.01.2022 Mission Beach Cricket Club

23.01.2022 Cricket Far North have advised that all senior and junior cricket is cancelled. This includes training and fixtures as well as presentation nights. It is a sad way to end the season, but thankfully we managed to get all but one week of the season completed. As there will not be a presentation night this season, we will draw the 100 board raffle shortly and announce the winners. Thanks to everyone, players and parents, who contributed to our season. Special thanks also to our partners in cricket Mission Beach Cricket Club and Innisfail Thunder Cricket for helping to facilitate a successful season.

21.01.2022 Our Tully/Mission Level 3 side is into the finals after defeating Mareeba today! The boys will play Atherton at Tolga tomorrow morning, starting at 8am. Well done to the boys, and also big congratulations for Dennis Lindsay, Mark Stuart and Kobus van Vuuren who have guided and supported the boys this season.

20.01.2022 Congratulations to our own Kade Corby as well as Marco van Vuuren (Mission Beach) who were selected in the u12 Peninsula cricket team, and also to Riley Berge (Mission Beach) who was selected as a shadow. These kids and the 9 others who represented Cassowary Coast at the trials have done our district proud.

17.01.2022 Our Tier 3 boys had another win today, this time against Rovers. Great to see the kids doing well and enjoying their cricket.

17.01.2022 Tully and Mission Beach Level 2 teams finish their seasons on a high at MARCS Park today. Well done kids on a terrific season. Special thanks to all the parents who dutifully show their support every week.

17.01.2022 Our Tier 2 Tully side hosted Mission Beach Cricket Club at Kim Carroll Sporting Fields. Tully batted first and scored 134 for the loss of 3 wickets (125 total) with standout performances from JD Patane and Riley Lindsay (each with 25 runs). With the ball, some excellent bowling from Jaxan Tarttelin (3 wickets for 9) and Riley Lindsay (2 wickets for 11) as well as some good catching at wicket-keeper from Jackson Simpson (2 catches) saw Tully keep Mission Beach to 89 runs for ...the loss of 9 wickets (total 68). Well played kids, and thanks for visiting us Mission Beach. Our Tier 3 side is taking the field now at Miller Oval Tully, so if you are in the area this afternoon call in to support our kids.

06.01.2022 Reminder that the Cassowary Coast District trials for 13-15 year boys will be held this Friday September 11 from 4-6pm at the Kurrimine Beach cricket grounds. Students should get consent forms from their HPE teachers at school as this a school based event.
