16.01.2022 Easter is usually a time for public celebrations, gathering with family and friends or for travelling, but this year is different. This year, Easter needs to be... spent in your home We've all worked really hard to slow the spread, and that progress could be completely undone if we go out this Easter. We’ve seen this overseas, where festivals or public celebrations were the start of an outbreak that got out of control very quickly. We can’t have that happen here. We want to thank Queenslanders for adjusting to change, and for your patience and kindness during these tough times. We will get through this together. We’ve got some tips on how you can continue the joy, celebrations and connectedness this Easter in different ways: > Camp or picnic in your back yard. > Set up an Easter Egg Hunt around your house and yard. > Host a virtual Easter dinner line up friends and family to cook the same meal. > Have an Easter arts and crafts day with the kids. > Bake Easter goodies and deliver them to your neighbours by placing them at their doors. > Get those DIY or spring-cleaning jobs finished. > Help others volunteer, give blood, or join Queensland’s Care Army. > Practise selfcare read a book, exercise, meditate, take a bath, or call a friend or relative. > Try something new a new recipe, walk a different path, or start a new at-home hobby.

On the day you are d...iagnosed with cancer, I will run late for you. When I tell you that your unborn baby‘s heart is not beating, I will run late for you. When I realise that your injuries are consistent with domestic abuse, I will run late for you. When during your routine appointment you disclose depression, I will run late for you. On the day your child needs an urgent review for shortness of breath, I will fit you in and I will run late for you. For these and another million reasons doctors run late. On the day that YOU need us, we will run late for YOU. #iwillrunlateforyou

However, aggressive or inappropriate language and behaviour will not be tolerated in clinic or on the phone. Formal warnings will be issued to those who display inappropriate behaviour. Our staff, especially Administration and Receptionists, are working very hard to meet everyone’s needs in a timely and compassionate manner. ...
