23.01.2022 BOOK FAIR is here! We have a range of picture books, children’s fiction, book/pencil/eraser packs, posters and incidental items all on display and for sa...le! Students can fill out a wish list and parents can come in during after school hours or send money in with students. We have cash and eftpos available. Please sanitise on the way in and adhere to social distancing! Plenty of stocking fillers here!



22.01.2022 QUICKSMART STARS Last week Eade, Kalani, Ruvae, Jack, Fletcher and Rylan (absent) received Quicksmart certificates for finishing a complete set of cards in either addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. Well done and thanks Bendigo Bank for the support you have provided.

19.01.2022 CHILD STUDIES Our year 12 Child Studies girls ran a successful technology themed lesson today for the Year 1 class for their major group task. Sasha, Kirra, Chloe and Hannah designed technology activities based on the book ‘Wombat Stew’. The students used the blue bots to sequence the book, created an edible stew in the kitchen and their own unique animal from the book. A fun and engaging lesson for all!



18.01.2022 Public schools, preschools and children’s centres will reopen to all students on Monday 23 November. While OSHC is able to operate as usual, families should check with their OSHC service whether it will run a service on Monday. We look forward to having children back on Monday!

16.01.2022 MATHS-COOKING Last week the year 7 class made pizza to celebrate their fractions learning in Maths. They enjoyed yummy pizza for lunch as an end of term treat.

15.01.2022 SURFS UP Yesterday the 5/6 class set of on their camp which was unfortunately cut short and they had to return home. Luckily they had already spent a great day at Fisheries Bay learning how to surf. A big Thank You to Jacqui Hockaday for organising the day.

11.01.2022 FOOD & HOSPITALITY On Thursday our Year 12 Food and Hospitality students were fortunate to visit Myers Seafood in Port Lincoln for a factory tour, cooking demo and Q and A about all the quality local seafood available in the region. We also visited Boston Bean Co and found out more about another amazing local company. The girls have taken away valuable info and ideas for their final assessment task.

Having them on my desk in Parliament this week has lifted my spirits and brought some joy into meetings I’ve had in my office! 06.01.2022 CULTURAL CELEBRATION The 5/6 class had an Asian Countries Day yesterday. There was a Countries Fashion Parade, a shared lunch with food from different Countries and students got to share their learning and research as well as doing activities from their Country with students from other Primary classes. Everybody had lots of fun. A big thank you to the parents for their support with this learning experience.
