22.01.2022 JUNE Dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus The Stained-glass window of the Sacred Heart in the Church of the Immaculate Conception was recently restored. When you are next in the church, and particularly during the month of June, some short devotionals you can recite, and teach your children include:... May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be loved everywhere. Sweet Heart of my Jesus, grant that I may always love You more. Sacred Heart of Jesus, let me love You and make you loved. Heart of Jesus, burning with love for us, set our hearts on fire with love of You. Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like Yours. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Have mercy on us. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, increase in us faith, hope, and charity.

18.01.2022 Please keep in your prayers the 28 young people of our parish who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation tomorrow evening. The origins of the sacrament of Confirmation are found in the Catholic Bible, Acts of the Apostles 8:14-17, where it depicts the imposition of hands, still reflected in the Confirmation ceremony of today. Confirmation is a large step for many young Catholics who, with the support of their Sponsors, will fully receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.... The sacrament of confirmation pours the Holy Spirit into practicing Catholics and gives them the graces to live out their faith as they enter adulthood. Receiving the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation is NOT a graduation! It’s a new beginning. And a call to continue even more passionately the journey of faith. Please pray for our young people.

01.01.2022 K/1/2 enjoyed a wonderful lesson with Father George today after Year 3/4 Mass. They explored special items in the church and learnt about rituals and their significance. Thank you for coming Father George!
