If I can find something that is made locally with no preservatives and will save time and energy in the kitchen, there is no reason why it can't be used. So, the @turbanchopsticks readymade pastes are a pantry staple for me.... No, this is not an ad or a sponsored post for the brand; I do love cooking with their products. A brand owned by a strong woman who has built it from scratch ethically, using the best ingredients is a win in my books. So for dinner today I made a Mushroom Korma using a mix of Shiitake and Button mushrooms with their readymade Korma paste. The mushrooms were meaty, and the paste worked its magic, giving the dish a depth of flavour that I loved. I served it with Jira rice and the leftovers we're tucked away happily in the fridge to be eaten for lunch tomorrow. On that note, I am glad the weekend is almost here. Aren't you?"
