We are excited to break the news that Tutors SA is rolling out a series of newly developed SACE HeadStart Courses starting from 16th January 2021. Who are these courses for?... Our SACE HeadStart courses are aimed at high achieving, high potential Year 10 students in 2021 demonstrating excellence at school and students who are looking for an early exposure to the SACE Stage 1 (Year 11) curriculum. This is a great opportunity for those students already doing extension learning at school or are already in accelerated learning programs such as Ignite, ALEAP, GifT, Accelerated STEM program, STEM pathways and similar. We offer all the core SACE Stage 1 subjects such as: Mathematical Methods and Specialist Maths combined (2 hours/session) Biology (1 hour/session) Chemistry (1 hour/session) Physics (1.5 hours/session) *Students can choose to enrol in one or multiple courses. Mathematical Methods and Specialist Maths are offered as one combined course. Lessons are structured in a manner that the key concepts from year 10 curriculum will be taught first before teaching and extending to SACE Stage 1 (Year 11) content. 04.01.2022 Term 2 End of Term Test will start from Saturday, 19th June 2021 to Friday, 25th June 2021. At the end of each term, Tutors SA conducts tests and provides feedback to parents/students. It is compulsory for students to undertake the end of term test, as this will allow us to assess the students’ progress in class and will be used as one of the main feedback points for parents....
