22.01.2022 Worth the wait....and I'm so so so happy these weren't lost to the ether... especially as these most definitely were a custom couture flower dream that sings of sunlit joy and delicate delights. Beautiful Bride Tamsyn's and Groom Tristan's floral vision was of delicate pinks, dusty blues, and warm whites. Vintage cottage garden romance and texture abounded in the most perfect dahlia, shimmering snow-berry, floating scabiosa, spires of dreamy delphinium, and filigree queenann...e lace, amongst rose ruffles in pink and ivory then sprinkled with textural warms of seasonal sweeties. I adored every bit of planning for this one, and I don't think I've ever quite enjoyed talking about flowers and colours quite so much as I have with this most gorgeous of brides. I nearly cried seeing Tamsyn's face come alive when I delivered the bouquets, and before I even had a chance to say what flowers were there, she beat me to it telling me each one, as she'd researched every flower I'd listed as seasonal possibilities, and with the most beautiful smile turned and said "You put them all in there, every one you said you would'..... (I'm not crying...you guys are crying!) Well....actually....truth be told... Due to the warm weather contributing to those phenomenal and perfectly formed dahlia, there was simply no room for some of the intended flowers in the brides bouquet. So what did we do? Crowned them into the gorgeous adornment of mixed foliages, berries and thistle on the happy couples wedding arbour of course! Blessings and gratitude again to this amazing couple, who entrusted their vision and their flowers to this honoured florist. 16.01.2022 What a delightful trip down memory lane it's been to rediscover these previously unshared images of Ellie & Michael's lilac and white dream wedding. I'll definitely be adding more images down the road , such as the gorgeous centerpieces and boutonniere darlings, but I'm sure you'll agree these small snippets I can share with you today are sure to give as much joy to view as I had in the very designing of these oh-so-soft pastel confections for the happy couples wedding day at Brookleigh Estate. #perthweddingflorist #perthflorist #lilacwedding #pastelbouquets #perthbrides #lilacandblush #ceremony flowers #whiteandlilac #perthweddings #weddingpartyflowers #vintagewedding

11.01.2022 Wedding Season is here again! I for one could not be happier and I can only imagine the joy and excitement of my couples. There's been so many changes of late within the fresh cut flower industry, with the dirty ol COVID being the evil culprit pretty much behind it all. Floral availability has been all over the place, and pricing has significantly fluctuated due to supply and demand of locally grown flowers, and even more so for imported products such as orchids and roses. ...Continue reading
